A lot of family fun & great racing for not a lot of money
Tickets for the Zolder round of the DTM championship on 17, 18 and 19 May are available for purchase from Thuesday 6 November at www.dtm.com/tickets, with various ticket options available. The third weekend of May is sure to be an unforgettable day for motorsport in Belgium.
In a manner of speaking, DTM, sometimes referred to as the Formula 1 of touring cars, was born at Zolder: the very first DTM race was held here in 1984. It is estimated that the return of this top-level competition will attract 70,000 racing fans to Zolder from neighbouring countries. DTM has been a truly European competition for some years. Alongside Zolder, the race calendar includes rounds at Assen (The Netherlands), Brands Hatch (UK) and Misano (Italy).
The track will see an almost uninterrupted spectacle. Not only will there be the practice sessions and two races in the DTM, but also races in Tourenwagen Classics, the new W series, the Lotus Cup Europe, various Porsche cups and in Zolder the Belcar Endurance Championship. In short: motorsport of the highest calibre in the best surroundings.
New to DTM this year: every ticket includes free entry to the paddock (as long as there is capacity, so it’s best to be quick). Tickets for the cheapest categories are free for children up to 14 and if accompanied by an adult (maximum 3 children per paying ticket). The DTM formula, with its host of support events, suits Zolder down to the ground. In addition to free entry for children to the standing areas, the higher ticket categories also boast a 50% discount for children. Children up to the age of 6 enjoy free entry in all ticket categories.
